The mind boggles. It was suggested maybe giants are employed at the council depot. I have tasked Mr HPW to find out.

Alexander is still in a remarkably good mood today, but rather more compliant, thank goodness. Apparently I have to read him a story tomorrow at nursery before I take him home, for National Literacy Week. Although he might be rather less pleased when his dinner is half an hour late....

I say 'have to' - I don't think it's an actual obligation.
