Dull day

I had a call today just as we were eating roast chicken lunch. Swim? So I finished lunch got myself ready, hubby went for a walk while I swam, then I drove to where he was. I arrived first! But the sea mist was rolling in, this is L’Ancresse bay, often just blue skies and expanse of blue sea and a soft sandy beach, today it’s all muted shades of grey. So we’ve got home to a nice portion of creamy rice pudding and a cup of tea. The multi fuel stove is still lit, and for that I’m grateful, these days we just top it up at night with grains and it just keeps the house a bit warm and gives us warm water too.
