Shoes

So I woke up very early to get the the produce center before it opened, in order to be in the first tranche of customers admitted. As we early birds were all standing in line, the woman behind me pointed out, “You have one brown shoe and one black one.” 
I looked down (see photo) and said, “Oh, no! How embarrassing! I just reached into my dark closet and grabbed the first pair.” 
“Don’t worry about it,” she said. “You’re giving us all some much-needed entertainment.”
