LOCK DOWN – DAY 41

We went on another mammoth walk today. Well it's not like we have much else to do. We walked all the way to Holyrood Park and all the way back. But, what we found really strange was the fact that cars were driving through the park. Normally the park is closed to cars on a Sunday and now we're in lock down it would appear that it's not. Anyway we found a new path that we've never been on before and we always like it when we find new places to walk so we were happy.



We were out for about two and a half hours but the trouble with doing a mammoth walk in the morning is that it makes us both tired for the rest of the day. So then Ann can't be bothered to take me very far in the afternoon.



Our normal routine in lock down is....................... we go out at about 8am-ish for about an hour and then come home and have breakfast and then we go out for a couple of hours in the afternoon, get home between 4-5pm and because we've done a big walk Ann feels that she deserves a glass of wine because 4pm has become the new 6pm with regards to wine o'clock?!!



Hmmmmmm....................... It's been said that there are two types of humans during these times of lock down.



….....................There's the humans who are detoxing, getting fit, doing all the jobs on their to do list, doing on-line courses and learning new skills, eating healthily and devising new recipes which they are cooking from scratch, sticking to a routine and wearing perfect make-up every day and will emerge from lock down with toned bodies and a self-righteous air about themselves because they have somehow morphed into 'perfect people'.



…...............And then there's the humans who have devised really clever ways to put the empty alcohol bottles into the recycling bins when no one else is watching, and wear the same top for 4 days running , and who feel a real sense of achievement when they actually get the hoover out for 5 mins or cook anything that doesn't involve it being put in a microwave.



…...............I'll leave it up to you to decide which type of person my human is. Lol, lol, lol
