Keeping close to mum

This Canada Goose only had five goslings but no doubt in the coming days and weeks they will be joined by many cousins to swell the ranks in the nursery.

I was so hoping that the goslings would settle on the grass and snuggle up to mum but the weather was too warm and sunny. Although they came on to the grass for a spot of grazing they were quickly back in the water for a family cruise across the loch.
