1980/2020

40 years ago on the 3rd of May 1980 I stood on the Easter Road terrace watching Aberdeen beat Hibs 5-0 to win the Premier League title. Our first title since the 1950s I think. It was a memorable day and the start of an amazing period of success for our club engineered by Alex Ferguson.

Today we spoke to some of the kids over zoom and did a virtual picture quiz, and also spoke to Isla in Montreal over zoom. I doubt if I’d asked my 20 year old self what I’d be doing in 40 years time I’d have dreamed that up.
