Cherchez la femme

Spotted today on the explanatory board at Gullane Bents. I didn't see any damsels dressed in rags sitting on a big pumpkin sobbing for Prince Charming (or even any hungover damsels dressed in cocktail dresses, for that matter) in the village, so perhaps this is just another form of street art that I don't quite get.

Funny foggy, hazy, sunny, windy, cold, warm day today. First outdoor lunch of the year though, but we drew the line at barbies and retired to the local pub instead.
