Social Distancing visit
James and the family came today, mainly to pick up some flour, of which I have plenty for his mother in law. We moved furniture in the courtyard before their arrival and had coffee before walking (on opposite sides of the road) to the beach for the girls to have a change of scenery. Once back at the house they grabbed the two bags of flour (one to drop off to Marilyn) and set off home. I have to confess to shedding a tear when they left. Mainly because it was just so weird not being able to hug, but also with it came the realisation that it will probably be a long time before I see them again.
I did nothing much for the rest of the day except cook the dinner, read and watch tv. Determined to get up in a more positive mood tomorrow.
