Lilioceris lilli.

Other wise known as scarlet lily beetle. First recorded in the UK in 1839, but only became established in 1939. It didn’t spread far from Surrey until the 1980’s and today was found in a garden in deepest West Yorkshire.  Great for photography, less great for my lilies.
