Visitors at the back yard buffet!

We woke this morning to leaden skies, heavy rain and thunder. The rest of the morning continued in a similar vein, as we watched our church’s virtual service streamed on Facebook Live. The afternoon was a little lighter, but rain persisted until about 6pm, when we got a short respite, when we were able to fit in a neighbourhood walk. Our feeders were busy today with a variety of visitors, including the ever-present starling, red-breasted woodpecker, and a less frequent but very beautiful visitor, the rose-breasted grosbeak. I believe I’m correct in saying the bottom left is the female grosbeak, but I’m open to correction.
