One life to live

52 Souls

I saw 52 souls in Ateneum Art Museum. It's an exhibition about symbolist landscape painting; poetic, mystical and sensual interpretations of nature, painted between 1880 and 1910. I absolutely loved the presentation, it was huge visual enjoyment. They had painted walls of the rooms with strong red, blue and purple colors and paintings looked fabulous against the strong colored walls, for instance Vincent van Gogh's "Wheat field with Reaper" glowed against purple background. I loved the Paul Gauguin's "The Vision of the Sermon (Jacob wrestling with the angel)" and Akseli Gallen-Kallela's "Lake Keitele" was as beautiful as ever.

Then I headed to evening dress shopping and I can't believe that I actually found a dress and bought it.

I traveled back to Tampere in time because I had my speech communication lessons in the evening.

Today's picture is from hotel Holiday Inn City Centre where we stayed over. It used to be my favorite hotel in Helsinki but this time it didn't feel as good as earlier.
