Dawn poppies

This is the only time of day I feel happy taking my daily exercise.

The poppies (also see extra) were originally sown by people like me sprinkling wind flower seeds on rough ground at the bottom of College Road. Enduring persistent vandalism over the first couple of years, the land is now tended by some neighbours and nature towers in abundance.

Poppies lives are fragile and fleeting. It is always a delight to see them, knowing you contributed to their existence.
