Just Takes Two Quilt

This is one of our favorite quilts, called Just Takes Two, I think because it only uses two colors of fabric. This pattern was the quilt of the year at the Houston show a few years ago. Our quilting friends went to the show in Houston and challenged us to make this quilt. Each block is unique, and then I tweaked a few to make them more personal for us. This was a very challenging quilt to produce, at the time I think it was over our head. But we are pleased with how it turned out. It passes the horse and rider test - a person riding a galloping horse at thirty feet cannot see any mistakes in the quilt.
