Mono Astrantia

A mixed forecast on the radio today weather wise, but it's turned out to be a glorious day! Plenty of sunshine and feeling very warm!

We broke free of the house this morning for a 5 minute drive to where our old next door neighbours live to deliver a card and present to Brandon , who was shocked to see us but liked the surprise! Nice to have a chat with real life people again, and then we had a natter with another neighbour as we came home!

An Astrantia has reappeared in the rockery so thought I'd make it my mono monday flower! Not much wildlife about in the garden today while I've been sat out reading a book - can highly recommend WE Begin AT The End by Chris Whitaker! - so far, so blooming good!
