He survived!
That was close. I almost didn't get him back. I walked in the door at the vet's office and Randi at the front desk said, "I'm not sure we can give him to you. . . ." When she saw the look of concern on my face, she quickly finished her sentence with ". . . he's just too sweet, we don't want to give him back!"
Finley went in for his little procedure this morning and is now home, resting. Not. The pup just can't sit still - I don't know how I'm going to "keep him quiet for 5 days". I already took Wriggly to the Kelleys because Fin would not stop trying to rough house with him. He's acting like absolutely nothing has happened. AND he had a bunch of shots today, too!
That's Greg, the tech, who held him every free minute he had, all day. Randi (behind the desk) said Finley was in someone's arms almost the entire time he was there. She just kept saying what a sweet, sweet puppy he is - and he is. We are soooo lucky to have him AND the wonderful people at the vet who take such great care of us.
This morning when I was leaving, Reese says to me (he's 15) "So, Mom, you taking Finley to a show?" I said "Ahh, no. We're going to the vet" He then replies "Oh, I thought you were going to the Nutcracker" Funny Reese!
