A Splash of Colour ..

Tuesday is my bird group day .. we went to Tophill Low which was awash with ducks - pintails, mallards, teal, diving ducks, female smew, goldeneye - all sorts!

Unfortunately it was a pretty dull day so no photos were very special.

I decided to drop into my local park on the way home - hoping to photograph some of the lovely colourful little birds in the walk through aviary .. but sadly it was shut for repairs ..

So today's splash of colour comes from a free range peacock!
