High Rise Flats and Tower Blocks

Architects should always design High Rise flats and Tower Blocks (if feasible) with balconies. People should have access to an outdoor space big enough for a table, chairs and green plants and flowers. It is a simple and humane concept.

Why have so many been designed without them? Wealth (for the Developers and the Architects) over health and wellbeing of the eventual residents. Perhaps the Architects should be made to live in some of these places (like Grenfell) themselves for a year - as a right of passage or part of their training. Just a thought....
