Felt a bit easier today. Phone perched on a taller stump and I managed to get a long way down the track in 10 seconds.
A minute or two earlier I met a serious looking mountain biker. His bike  had front and rear suspension, disk brakes and probably a hundred gears. In our brief chat it turned out he lives just along the road from us at Inverroy..On my return along the A86 tarmac from Spean to Roy I'm sure he went past me. Not pedalling but with his highly distinctive mountain bike on a rack at the back of the car. I have no issue with him wanting to avoid dangerous road traffic (the obvious and wise motivation) but he better watch that the Corona Nazis don't shop him.
