A spot of fresh air

Eventful day.

New TV and mattress arrived at 7.51.

Bin men took the packaging away at 8.05.

Removed smallest TV from the wall mount to move another TV into it....to only find out it had a different set of holes on the back.

Oh well at least the replacement for that one was just going to stand on a cabinet.....but no, the legs on the tv where too far apart to fit on the cabinet.

So time for some proper work, whilst pondering what to do.

Conference call, another call, Skype chats and slack chats.

Bumped into a neighbour whilst bringing in the recycling boxes, who suggested screwfix.

Popped up after lunch to pick up a new wall mount for the new tv.

This one came with extension arms which weren't needed, but allowed the old TV to fit on the old mount.

So back to work, trying to help a colleague set up his virtual machine whilst configuring my NiFi graph to produce some valid JSON.

Got interrupted by a support call from India trying to fix the fact that the Microsoft store doesn't work on my PC, to be told it was currently with the lawyers! What!

By this point it was around 5.30 and time to brave the TVs.

With an interruption for tea and a walk in the park I collapsed on the sofa at 10, with 2 TVs mounted on the wall. One moved rooms and another brand new.

Its massive and looking forward to watching a film, but too tired now.
