RIP Dave Greenfield - keyboard magician

Gutted - coronavirus has taken a man in black. RIP Dave Greenfield from the Stranglers. The band that were one of the first great inspirations for me and my first proper gig. Ipswich Gaumont -  1982. I still have the bootleg recording which sends a shiver up my spine when I hear it. Seen them half a dozen times since - even without Hugh Cornwall, they are magic. A truly sad passing. Dave’s magic fingers produced a truly unique sound on the keyboards. He will be forever ‘Walking on the beaches’.
