Nesting In Low Light
Today's Mono Monday theme was "Low Light", so this morning I headed down to the creek with it's various bridges where I could find some low light. I was so pleased to find this bird calmly sitting on a nest, while others were darting about which made me think of the Monty Python bit about the air speed of a swallow. I can assure you that these swallows are neither African or European, but I am thinking because of the shape of the nest, they must be Barn Swallows. You can tell me if I'm wrong. Thanks to Carolina for hosting.
