Green Woodpecker or Yaffle

Nice surprize today when a female Green Woodpecker dropped into our back garden to search for ants. The first time I have seen her this year. If it had been a male he would have had what is termed as a red moustache.

It has been a good day weather wise which cheered our family up. The rest of the week is looking good.
