Memory is a Funny Old Thing (again)

Seen this yacht for several days now but the sun's reflection on the window made it a very difficult shot; dull and overcast permitted it at last.

First thoughts were John Masefield's Sea Fever but then I was taken back 30 odd years to Ken O'Dell's funeral service in the delightful church of St John's Blindley Heath. His eldest son Roger gave a moving eulogy which included Tennyson's Crossing The Bar

All from a model yacht in a living room window - memory is indeed a funny old thing.
