An Old Airman's Life

Honky Horn

Here is my first homework assignment in my DSLR class. We were supposed to select an item to shoot in differing light for the rest of the week. The instructor said not to pick someone but something. Things never get tired of sitting or having their picture taken. So here is Honky the Horn.

Our rules for the entire course are no flash and take the camera off auto.

For this week, we were to set the camera on aperture priority. Use fstop 5.6 or lower. Shutter speed of 1/60 or larger. ISO inside of 100 to 400 and outside 400+.

Honky and I were watching a pretty significant rain and lightening storm roll through Fort Worth. And I do mean roll. Winds well above 25 mph.

Going to be meeting with a friend and a lawyer friend tonight to see what we need to do to start our cycling adventure tour business. I am excited about doing something other than computers and data.
