Forth Rail Bridge
Sometimes, things go perfectly according to plan. Sometimes.... not so much.
Well, without wanting to go into too many details, this evening saw an unexpected journey back to the office for me. I hadn't expected to have to go, and once there I ended up staying longer than I wanted.
By the time I got out, and crossed the "closed to high-sided vehicles" Forth Road Bridge, I realised that I hadn't done my day's photo. I went into South Queensferry and snapped the above with my faithful Sony pocket camera.
This was taken at South Queensferry harbour. At the extreme left, beside the boat, you can see the lights of North Queensferry. A little to the right of that, Dalgety Bay.
I'm not entirely sure what the set of lights in the middle of hte picture might be, but furthest right are the lights of Hound Point; a mid-river facility that loads oil into and out of tankers.
