Red eye or green/purple back?

Watching the birds on the feeders today - the sun in the right direction and I hoped to get the iridescence on the Starlings. That didn't happen, so I settled on this close up of a Collared Dove with its red eye. Then, of course, I got a Starling! Which to use? Both ! see the 'extra' for the Starling - not a brilliant pose - he wouldn't stand up straight - but his back is showing some green and purple
