CLEMATIS 'PRESIDENT'

I purchased this lovely plant on the Monday, day before the lockdown.  And I am so pleased it has rewarded me with this delightful first flower on the new trellis.

I went out and took the photo before the rain came down, again.  We waited until after 15.30 and when it stopped Oscar and Phoebe enjoyed chasing over 4 squirrels.

Yesterday I heard and saw Swifts and Swallows which is a wonderful sign.

Tomorrow is half way through another week and nearer to seeing the end, hopefully.
