Yellow Flag

Yellow flag, or yellow iris - Iris pseudacorus

Today, feeling somewhat better, I had a short trip out.  The yellow flags are flowering in profusion around here.  This one was in the Nuns' Stream.  To me they always look much too large and flamboyant to be wild flowers, but of course they are.

Nothing much else happened - I did a bit of gardening and a bit of food shopping and a bit of reading.  Not exciting, but nice all the same.
