Cuckoo

After heading to the vets to pick up CJ's meds, we stopped on the way home for a short circuit of the moors.  I'd heard a cuckoo calling a few days ago and was hopeful we might find him.  There's at least two because another male called from behind me after I homed in on this one. It would be lovely to know if they are successful and the youngsters come back to the area. they seem to like this spot as it's impossible to get to on foot.

I'm hoping to hear a female one.
