Blip out of the Window

Sorry I had to change my blip, it is so rare for us to get rainbows and I suddenly was aware of this strange light!

Extras... I could not believe my eyes this morning when I saw 2 female "princess" mergansers high in a tower on the Chateau de Chillon. I just read that they they do nest high in crevices in trees and buildings but this seemed a rather upmarket place, in a 700 year old castle! Apparently they are quite rare in Switzerland, only 600 - 800 pairs and are considered to be vulnerable.
