New calf

A beautiful baby girl. And the dogs hanging around the garden in different positions every time i looked up from the greenhouse. Planted out all the veg today in the greenhouse. Quite an enjoyable task. Heres hoping they survive and produce now. While I was doing that husband was watching the calving cow Lily very closely as her amniotic sack hadnt burst and there was a risk when the calf came out it would be smothered when trying to take its first breath. Good job he did as he needed to burst it for the cow and calf it was very tough to break it so i hear. A very attentive first time mum which is great. All tired tonight after a busy day.
