Freedom day, our 75th

Of course without any big events. Instead both yesterday and today we were able to follow events and celebrations online and on TV. As I mostly witness events from TV anyway, it really doesn't make much difference to me. I do feel the freedom I have. In spite of this Corona situation. I have been born in freedom and have lived in freedom ever since. Free to do as I please, to live life in a way that I see fit. I hugely appreciate that. And I am forever grateful to those who made that possible 75 years ago.

This morning I was able to get up early and I went for an early morning walk. In solitude. Except for one jogger and one encounter, both at safe distance.
