A few years ag,o Edward wrote a university paper on Van de Graff and his particle accelerator and some of the people he worked with, which included John George Trump. Edward got a call from The Washington Post last week wanting to find out a little more about Edward's research and what he thought John George Trump, who passed away in 1985 would have thought of Donald Trump, his nephew. Edward was dipolmatic and said he felt president Trumps uncle John would be shocked and horrified at his nephew's recklessness attitude towards science and the pandemic.
