Jackanory with Maggie

Another blip about Maggie...
My Mum sent this ahead of FaceTime bedtime story (my daughter’s, not mine) and announced that there would be a guest storyteller this evening.

I think she wears the glasses well; I also think the old girl looks very wise with her grey muzzle and ever so slightly musky eyes.

Actually, though she’s ‘daft as a brush’ (because she’s a staffy dog) she is nevertheless wise with it. Maggie is completely content in life, constantly oozing happiness and acceptance of the people & the things she has in it.

This is a noble trait; albeit, I’m observing it in a canine, it’s a noble trait & a good lesson for us all.
