Shifting shadows

After Tony had been treated for pneumonia for over a week, today we were shocked by the news that he had Covid-19.

In spite of having tested negative several times, doctors now said there was nothing more they could do and they would be turning off his ventilator.

His daughters were by his bedside when he slipped away at 8:25.
