Maqluba!

I bought this very wonderful book today so I can make some fabulous Middle Eastern food for our next gathering of friends of Palestine. It's extremely difficult to decide what to make!

If only Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi were right about Hummus ending the troubles in their country - "It takes a giant leap of faith, but we are happy to take it, to imagine that Hummus will eventually bring Jerusalemites together, if nothing else will." Certainly, in my experience, sharing food is one of the best things in the world!
