Icicle

For the first time living here, I noted several icicles forming on the eaves of the portale. Today was a winter storm.

There were other things that I saw today, but was without my camera. They included some fantastic afternoon light on the now snowy Sangre d Christo mountain range. Oooohhh, maaaan!

Shooting the icicle not as easy as one may think. The dark wood contrasted with the bright light coming from the sky. I tried several times, without light augmentation. Finally got it right.

This icicle became my daily blip.
