Traprain Law
Another lovely day. TT spent the morning in the garden, while I did some chores. I eventually joined him in the garden and planted some seeds. We will end up with a lot of sunflowers, as I found an old packet of seeds and planted them all (having already planted some from a new packet). However they may be too old to germinate.
After lunch, TT and I headed out along the river for a walk. It was so lovely, but conscious of getting sunburned last Sunday, I was well covered and lotioned up. We walked again to Hailes Castle, then up to Traprain Law. We didn’t go up the hill today, but walked by the side of it, then back along a couple of quiet country roads. It was very clear and the views were lovely.
Once home my plans for tea had to be slimmed down as we got back later than planned. I improvised and it all worked out well.
Later TT and I watched two episodes of Mrs Wilson, which was absolutely fascinating and intriguing - a true story of betrayal, bigamy and espionage.
The back of Traprain Law, which makes a change from the “front” view which I normally blip. The back is much more rugged, and when you are standing on the top seems like a sheer drop to the field below.
