Goldfinch

This afternoon I went round to my neighbour's for a social distancing cup of tea. I took my tea with me and went into their garden via the back gate . My friend had arranged the chairs several metres apart and we enjoyed our cup of tea and a chat. I took my camera hoping to see some different birds as their house backs onto woods. We saw all sorts of birds and heard a woodpecker but this goldfinch kindly sat still long enough for me to get a photo.
