Feeding young

Between online meetings I tried to get a decent shot of one of our great tits entering or leaving the bird box. I put a tripod up in the conservatory, camera on top.

The bird box is to one side of our conservatory. The exercise was more difficult than.I thought however. The birds are skilled at flying straight through the entrance hole on the way in and on the way out, without landing. But eventually one obliged. I am pleased with the result.

The visits are more frequent, and the birds are clearly feeding young. Not sure what this particular morsel is, but it will look good to a chick.
