Tulip

A few days ago I blipped a droopy tulip I thought was on its last legs stem.  Today I'm pleased to show that it is still going strong and standing upright in the heat of the sun with the good weather we are having.

We had a nice zoom chat with Mauree and Ian before I popped out for a quick walk round the block prior to afternoon coffee.

This morning I made a roasted butternut squash, carrot and parsnip soup which we had for lunch.  We seem to have a surfeit of carrots, I'd like to try making carrot cake though I have no self-raising flour :-(
