Horse chestnut

I went down to the junction
To the stone church on the hill
The courier guy had rung me
He said he didn’t have the will
To come all the way to the reservation
Could he please meet me half way
He’d an order of spelt flour
And he’d had enough already today.
Five ten minutes he said grimly
Or maybe another hour
So while I stood there waiting
I admired this chestnut flower.
