Beautiful sunset at Billa Barra tonight. And a well timed walk as we bumped into two sets of friends at the top by accident. We obeyed the 2m rule of course but was good to chat.

Betty chook looked to be on her way out this morning. Was really worried about her. We managed to successfully clear her crop - horrible stinky brown liquid- and got another dose of medicine down her. She wasn't interested in food at all. But after her second dose of medicine this afternoon she looked much brighter and even had a peck at some corn. At bedtime her comb has gone back to red and she seems much perkier as she squarked when we picked her up. Fingers crossed she'll keep going in the right direction.

I repainted the kitchen island this morning as decided we didn't like the first colour with the wooden worktop and handles Unfortunately need to leave 16 hrs between coats so will have to finish tomorrow now. Annoying as kitchen is in chaos without it!

This arvo I had another ride out with Georgia and Kim. Kim rode Buddy. Was a great ride. They are such lovely people. And it's a big help to get Lime and Buddy exercised at the same time. Lime, the right bloody comedian, wee'd on the rubber stable mats that were drying in the sun outside the stable. I'd dragged then all out and washed and disinfected them and they were dry and ready to go back in this evening. Thanks a bunch Lime. Had to wash then again as they stunk!
