Danger falling coconuts!!

There are many deaths caused by coconuts every year in Kerala. However when the coconut man is about most people usually know to get out of the way. Even so as we were standing watching this guy and he was very very high up some of the coconuts bounced and landed right by our feet. My friend Sana knew better and pressed herself into the wall till he had finished.

Every part of the coconut is used.. to drink the water, eat the flesh which is soft and slimey but very tasty. They are used for mats, roofing, walls, ornaments .. it is a main industry here after fishing and tourism ..
