Change

A few days ago today's weather change promised so much - rain, rain, rain. But as is often the case, the cold front only brushed us as the incoming high pressure pushed it out past Banks Peninsula.

As my Australian Nana would have said, the rain we got was "better than a poke in the eye with a dirty old stick".

And it looked impressive just before it arrived.

Today's gratitude: For a new opportunity at work. I said yes and accept it will put me out of my comfort zone.
