How Spring is it yet?
Outside the kitchen window, a rowan tree grown from a berry is lunging upwards, growing almost as I watch it reach above the window cill.
It's sunny where I stand, and the breeze is gentle and warm. Today, at any rate. Down there along the shores of the Firth, spring crops are in full flower. As is the whin (gorse or furze, if you prefer calling it that).
But over yonder there's still snow on the Ben.
