I have seen a number of buildings in Braga that get massive do-overs. A total gutting, and then lathered in construction sealant. I suppose when it becomes architecturally compromised, even the rule of maintaining a semblance of the facade comes into question.

I was able to find this building, (when it still had an exterior), from our 'first' 2017 visit, and it had a fish market at ground level. The extra. Never had a clue then, that we would live here in 18 months.
