Day 42/7 Our tortoise returns

I had a lovely surprise when I went around the garden looking for a blip this evening. "Bruce" had disappeared - it's the first time we've seen him during lockdown. He hungrily ate some lettuce, and was quite happy with Coda around.
We had a lovely long walk this morning to Snake bench. and then I worked in the garden - why do weeds grow so well!!
Grateful today for the many birds and animals who seem to be very happy with few humans around!!
