Un-noticed

A busy day for all today.

While C and L dug out a massive hole to create the new pond, I was confined to my desk finishing everything off before a few days off.

Completely unnoticed by us all, this beautiful poppy appeared.   I decided to take a quick photograph while the sun was out before we went for our walk and so glad that I did because by the time I came back it was sadly bent over, broken I suspect by becoming a perch for one of the many sparrows dashing around the garden.   At least there are many more buds still to come.
