Hurrah to NHS

Nazareth house is a care home on the front overlooking the Sound. It used to be a nursing home but was downgraded because they didn’t have enough money to keep the nursing staff! I have a friend who works there in the kitchen and feeding the residents. The director of the home put lockdown in place before the country did and they have not had Coronavirus, thank God. I am sure all the residents had their hand prints done!

Today I walked across to the Hoe and went to look at the new statue of Nancy Astor, the first female member of parliament. It was put in place on the 100th anniversary of hyper winning in the election for Sutton, Plymouth. Picture in extra. The Hoe was quite busy compared to recent days and tomorrow is bank holiday in lockdown so it will be interesting to see how many more people are out enjoying the sunshine! Looks like rain down here tomorrow morning though!
